CHALLENGE MET
On time, in-budget delivery of superior work won an additional contract to remodel 26 existing, adjoining units

Zachau was proud to play a part in supporting the community of seniors who’ve helped shape the history of our company’s home town. Winning the competitive bid to build 25 new units for the Oak Leaf II senior housing project allowed us to create homes customized to serve the needs of older or disabled Freeport citizens. Apartments were designed with spacious layouts featuring wood floors and open kitchens. These private spaces were built within easy access of such shared amenities as an onsite laundry and community room that provide both operational efficiency and the positive, communal atmosphere especially appreciated by Oak Leaf II’s older residents. All work was done with minimal impact to the residents in Oak Leaf’s occupied adjoining facility, Oak Leaf Terrace.
