Beyond being an expert in construction, we believe a construction manager should be an expert in communications. As a construction management team, our job is to establish clear action items, firm deadlines, and accountability. We identify vital information and then clearly articulate it to the entire team.
Zachau provides design/build services to our clients. Our design/build service is very similar to the construction management process with the exception that we provide the design services and carry the professional liability required. Our design and pre-construction team works collaboratively with the owner to meet their budget and programming directives
We will frequently participate in the traditional process of design/bid/build. In this process, we compete against other construction firms to build the project per the design specifications provided by the owner and at the lowest price. Our ability to self-perform work makes us very competitive. However, we are selective relative to the projects that we will bid. We simply will not compromise our commitment to quality and long term relationships to be the low bidder.
