The Morrison Developmental Center Building Committee engaged Zachau Construction as CM in June of 2008. We worked with their committee and CWS architects in the pre-construction process for planning construction of their new 32,000 square foot campus for individuals with special needs. The project includes classrooms, greenhouses and a gymnasium. The building's structural framework is a combination of steel studs, traditional wood framing, erected steel and panelized construction. Special consideration was given to maximizing R values through a combination of blown cellulose, urethane foam and rigid foam board applications.
